Your main duties would include processing vendor and customer onboarding forms, data entry, account reconciliations, AR/AP support tasks, and assisting Human Resources with special projects to ensure all organizational needs are met.

Licensing & Acquisitions Intern

As a Licensing & Acquisitions Intern, you will assist the Licensing team and Acquisitions teams during the Summer 2024 semester. Your primary responsibilities will be to assist with the acquisition of talent releases for ViralHog, as well as providing administrative support for the Licensing team by collecting, organizing, and distributing information, and coordinating communications between teams.
This is an on-site, part-time position that requires availability of 5 days and 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Customer Communication:
- • Promptly respond to one-off requests, custom prompt emails, licensor interview requests, talent release requests, and other assigned emails
- • Monitor our library daily to pitch content to partners based on custom aggregation requests
- • Assist with talent release projects
Client Interaction and Support:
- • Assist with partner interactions, including new whitelist requests, updating users, updating billing information, and logging all applicable client information for compliance
- • Communicate with licensors via email and phone regarding talent releases
- • Provide top-notch customer service by working collaboratively with other departments
Administrative Tasks:
- • Read through and manage the spam folder
- • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- • Prepare and send one-off, and bulk quotes through the sales pipeline based on SM Policy and Licensing SOPs
- • Assist with various Licensing department tasks and projects as directed
- • Familiarize yourself with the ViralHog library to better assist with pitches and the talent release process
- • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- • Currently enrolled at and pursuing a degree at an accredited institution
- • Experience with social media, such as YouTube and Facebook, Google Workspace, and Microsoft platforms (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
- • Outstanding customer service skills demonstrated through adept interpersonal conversation, patience, and empathy
- • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

As a Content Rights Analyst, you are tasked with bridging the gap between Digital Rights Management and Content.
In your work with the Digital Rights Management department, you will assist with protecting our rapidly growing digital content library of 60,000+ videos. You will be expected to stay up-to-date on daily posted videos, maintain reporting on unauthorized usage of clients' content, manage ownership disputes, and search a pre-defined list of websites and social media pages for unauthorized use.
In your work with the Content department, you will assist with newly acquired videos for Licensing sales and ViralHog social media publishing. This individual will utilize their creative mind to enhance raw video with edits that may include blurring, bleeping, combining footage, adding captions, adding text overlay, shortening, removing and replacing music, and more.
You will need to quickly gain an understanding of all aspects of ViralHog, our competitors, the basics of copyright law, fair use, and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Responsibilities include:
- • Developing and maintaining knowledge of ViralHog’s ever-growing library of content
- • Helping manage Reported Usage and Ownership Disputes
- • Issuing DMCA takedowns on social media platforms
- • Utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro or similar programs to edit licensed videos
- • Keeping up to date on rules and guidelines on all social media platforms and ensuring ViralHog’s channels are in good standing and in compliance
- • Properly labeling content to warn all viewers and censoring any portions required
- • Promptly responding to emails

This individual is an expert in all things ViralHog - what we do, how we protect content, the details of our license agreement and more.
The position collaborates with the departments of Accounting, Licensing/Sales, and Copyright to ensure the success of licensed videos on all fronts.
Many backgrounds can excel in this position, but communication skills and a tenacious self-starter attitude are key. Experience with, and a passion for, social platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram are important. A successful candidate will have a love for subreddits or community sites with a focus on viral videos and GIFS. Ultimately, the Research Specialist is ViralHog’s greatest champion and most active salesperson.

•Frontline brand champion, expressing the core values of our company including trust, service, and creativity
•Working with the research team to identify and acquire trending videos
